A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for November 2007 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading
of the minutes from the November meeting. Commissioner Freyer made a motion
to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Nelson. Motion passed
unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Commissioner White presented the financial
report for November 2007. Commissioner Freyer made a motion to accept the
report, subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion passed
unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale informed/updated the commission on the
following.
. A meeting to be held in January with the new Beverly Police Chief regarding
airport security
. The proposed sale of non-aviation use parcel to Rice Rental before the end of
the year
. Kelleher and Fonzo parcels - correspondence taking place
. Updated status of3.0-acre non-aviation use parcel in back of AdminlMaint
building
. Received three (3) bookings for the Airport PowerPoint Presentation
. Distributed airport "Completed Projects List" and "Wish List"
. Distributed article on a Cessna aircraft to be built in China
. Airport clerk is collecting airport information for use in BVY brochure
4. Presentations:
. Dave Graham and Craig Schuster updated the commission on the upcoming
ALP update meeting with FAA on 12/20/07.

B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney updated the
commission on the proposed West Side hangar development by Stuart Abelson
and their apparent non-interest. Vice Chairman Mahoney also updated the
commission on the Steve Castle lease and the Civil Air Patrol lease, and
reported on an Airport PowerPoint Presentation that he made to Millipore
Corporation.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioner Freyer reported that the
subcommittee will be meeting after the first of the new year.
. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione updated the
commission on the National Grid flood lighting and the plan to do a facility
inspection in January 2008.
. Off-Airport Obstructions - Commissioner Dettorre updated the commission on
the status of tree removal on the Landry property (R W 16 area) and
recommended moving forward on obtaining instrument approaches to RW 9
and RW 27.
. Environmental Issues & NSCC Aviation Program - Commissioner Barnico
reported on the distribution of the pilot encyclopedia books to BVY student
pilots and his plan to attend a 12/18/07 planning board meeting regarding the
Ron Vitale development.
. Special Projects - No report, other than the AdminlMaint building extension
project is on hold.
. Airport Safety & Security Coordination - John Duval submitted his report for
November 2007.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee
collections, RW 9/27 final inspection, Taxiway "B" crack sealing, meeting with hay farmer,
Hangar #6 utility improvements, FAA interest in fencing the Control Tower, preparation for
annual Town ofDanvers Airport Report, signed Letter of Agreement updates with Control
Tower and airport maintenance.

D. NEW BUSINESS
. Election of Officers - Chairman Vitale called for nominations from the floor for the
position of Chairman and Vice Chairman. Commissioner Dettorre nominated Paul Vitale
for Chairman and Bill Mahoney for Vice Chairman, seconded by Commissioner Barnico.
Motion passed unanimously.
E. COMMISSION COMMENTS
. Commissioner Barnico said there was no updated information forthcoming from City Hall
regarding the Kelleher and Fonzo parcels. Chairman Vitale said he would arrange a
meeting with Tina Cassidy, Bill Mahoney, Bob Mezzetti, and himself to discuss it.
F. ADJOURNMENT
At 9:00PM, motion to adjourn made by Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner
Barnico. Motion passed unanimously.
