MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 15, 2007

Commissioners Barnico, Dettorre, Forgione, Mahoney, Nelson, and Vitale
ABSENT:
Commissioners Freyer, Lydon, Tognazzi, and White
PUBLIC:
Jim Baker, Steve Castle, Richard Chase, Charlene Chase, and Ken Robinson
A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for September 2007 - Chairman Vitale called for a reading
of the minutes from the September meeting. Vice Chairman Mahoney made a
motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion
passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - No financial report
3. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale updated/informed the commission on the
following:
. The Hangar Development Subcommittee is dissolved but the Off-Airport
Obstruction Subcommittee will remain.
. Commissioner Dettorre will also serve on the Property/Legal/Finance
Subcommittee.
. An unexpected visit by Maine helicopters to the airport over the weekend
. Results of the annualS-year C.I.P. project update meeting with FAA and
M.A.C.

B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney updated the
commission on West Side hangar development interest and a City Hall
PowerPoint presentation. Vice Chairman Mahoney informed the commission
that the Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee had voted to forward the

proposed NxAero lease to City Hall. He then asked for a motion to approve
the NxAero lease. Commissioner Barnico made a motion to approve the lease
as revised, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre. Motion passed unanimously.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioners Nelson updated the
commission on the status of the airport brochures.
. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione informed the
commission that the name of the road leading into the airport will remain L. P.
Henderson Road and that he was still working on the floodlights for the
AdminlMaint building.
. Off-Airport Obstructions - Commissioner Dettorre updated the commission on
RW 27 and RW 16 tree removal status.
. Environmental Issues & NSCC Aviation Program - Commissioner Barnico
informed the commission that there should be no environmental issues with the
proposed AdminlMaint building addition.
. Special Projects - Chairman Vitale updated the commission on the status of
the proposed AdminlMaint building addition.
. Airport Safety & Security Coordination - John Duval submitted his report for
September 2007.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly landing fee
collections, RW 9/27 Reconstruction Project, Hangar #5 (A B Aviation) construction status,
potential brochure printing source, building and hangar number installations, Collings
Foundation, and airport maintenance.
D. NEW BUSINESS
Commissioner Dettorre made a motion to approve the Coastal Air Charter sublease with
Warner Aerocraft, seconded by Commissioner Nelson. Motion passed unanimously.

F. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Forgione.
Motion passed unanimously.
