Lynch Park Advisory Committee Minutes for April 26, 2007
Present were Liz Caputo, Nancy Clark, Tom Clark, Ginny Currier, Joan Fairbank, Bruce
Doig and Gin Wallace.
The group spent virtually all its time working on The Essex National Heritage
Commission application for Trails & Sails on Sunday, September 30.
Our fifty-word description of the event is:
Revisit the glory days of President Taft's Gold Coast where world-famous millionaires
enjoyed the ocean breezes. The guided tour takes you from the Italianate garden to the
spectacular view from the point to the century-old carriage house where you'll see a
presentation of Lynch Park past and future.
We also looked at Ginny's early brochure (2002) and decided we need a handout ASAP.
Agenda for May 17, 2007
We'll spend all our time editing Bruce's PowerPoint presentation and working with the
information in it to start developing a tour of the park.
We will also need to develop a handout with a map from it to advertise coming events.
