Also, from the Guild of Beverly Artists were Rachel Rome, Bill Ghen, Dan Francis, Tom Gates, Katerina Gates, and Nancy Bouchard. It was reported that David S. Lynch Day netted $880 from the sales of pizza tickets, ice cream tickets, and T-shirts. Tom said he would write letters of thanks to the pizza vendors and Dick Williams. Bruce reported that he applied for and got approval of a one-day liquor license for the mayor's reception on Sept. 29. However, the date was later changed to Oct. 13 to accommodate ticket sales under the direction of Paul Lanzikos. A sub-committee was appointed to meet periodically with Paul to plan the event. Bruce is to coordinate with the Guild of Beverly Artists to get the main room floor space ready for removal of partitions and refinishing of the floor once the summer day camps are finished. Guild members said they would prepare a "To-Do" list relative to the storage of their equipment while the room is refurbished. For our participation in Trails & Sails on Sept. 30, it was decided to focus our tours to the following aspects of Lynch Park: The Monastery, Rose Garden, Dawson Hall, Stetson Cottage, Woodbury Beach (site of the house moving), the Falconer, and the Carriage House. The next meeting date was set for Aug. 16. Meeting was adjourned at 9 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Nancy Clark, secretary
