Commissioners Barnico, Dettorre, Forgione, Freyer, Lydon, Mahoney,
Vitale, and White

A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for June 2007 - Chairman Vitale called for a
reading of the minutes from the June meeting. Commissioner Freyer made
a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Dettorre.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of
the financial report. Commissioner White presented the financial report for
June 2007. Commissioner Barnico made a motion to accept the financial
report subject to audit, seconded by Vice Chairman Mahoney. Motion
passed unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report - Chairman Vitale updated the commission with the
following:
. Results of a BVY poll conducted by the KBVY pilot's group
. Public restroom discussion
4. Presentations:
. Jacobs, Edwards, & Kelcey, Inc. - Craig Schuster updated the
commission on the RW 9/27 Reconstruction Project including an
update on the localizer and REILS.

B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney
updated the commission on the BVY PowerPoint presentation to the
Electric Insurance Company and to the North Shore Chamber of
Commerce. The next presentation will be to Axcelis Technologies. The
presentation will also be offered to all Cherry Hill businesses.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioners Nelson and Freyer
updated the commission on the Danvers Family Festival and a possible
future visit by Phil Boyer of AOP A. Commissioner Freyer suggested
soliciting ads on the BVY web site and to get an airport brochure team
together.
. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione updated
the commission on the proposed street name change and waste oil/fuel
containers.
. Hangar Development/Off-Airport Obstructions - Commissioner
Dettorre updated the commission on off-airport obstruction clearing.
Money is needed for work to be done in 2 phases. Commissioner White
made a motion to approve money not to exceed $23,000 for Phase I
and to approve money not to exceed $17,000 for Phase II.
Commissioner Lydon seconded the motion. Motion passed
unanimously.
. Environmental Issues & NSCC Aviation Program - Commissioner
Barnico updated the commission on the status of the City's Skating
Rink RFP and that he is still in touch with Jim Bosco, Chairman of the
NSCC Aviation Science Program.
. Special Projects - No report, however renovations to the Airport
AdminlMaint building continue.
. Airport Safety & Security Coordination - John Duval updated the
commission on the proposed Ron Vitale development and FAA's
project determination.

C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT
Airport Manager Mezzetti reported on the monthly aircraft traffic count, monthly
landing fee collections, RW 9/27 Reconstruction Project, AdminlMaint building
renovations, Civil Air Patrol and proposed Collings Foundation donation to CAP,
BVY membership in U. S. Contract Control Tower Association, landscaping of East
Side areas, and the possibility of getting aviation radios from MassPort.
D. NEW BUSINESS None
E. COMMISSION COMMENTS
. Airport Manager to contact City Solicitor regarding the arrears of High Flight, Inc.
F. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn made at 9:06PM by Commissioner Dettorre, seconded by
Commissioner Freyer. Motion passed unanimously.
