Anthony Kline presided.
Finance Committee met to review proposed FY2008 budget.
Patricia Cirone reviewed the proposed FY2008 budget. She reported that the library needs to
upgrade some of its computer hardware and software. She included enough part-time hours and
custodial overtime hours to open on Sundays. John Dunn recommended a 10% increase in
electricity and heating fuel line items. Patricia Cirone reported that she increased the line items
for service contracts and inspection fees because of contractual obligations and the costs
associated with covering 2 buildings.
Anthony Kline suggested that if it looks like there might be extra money in the heating fuel line
item then to try to use some of those funds towards the purchase of computer hardware and/or
software. Patricia Cirone will ask John Dunn for his advice regarding this matter.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7: 10 P.M.
