MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

Commissioners Barnico, Duval, Forgione, Freyer, Lydon, Mahoney,
Tognazzi, Vitale, and White
ABSENT:
Commissioners Dettorre and Nelson

Dave Graham, Steve Castle, Richard Chase, Tricia Nestor, Ken Robinson,
and Rich Mello
A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for February 2007 - Chairman Vitale called for a
reading of the minutes from the February meeting. Commissioner Duval
made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Barnico.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of
the financial report. Commissioner White presented the financial report for
February 2007. Commissioner Barnico made a motion to accept the
financial report subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Lydon. Motion
passed unanimously. Commissioner White also passed out copies of the
proposed FY08 O&M budget.
3. Chairman's Report -
. Chairman Vitale updated the commission on the proposed part-time
airport clerical position, a Danvers Fire Department Honorarium for
airport tenant Richard Chase, and the upcoming meeting with off-
airport tree owners.
4. Presentations:
. Edwards & Kelcey, Inc. - Dave Graham updated the commission on
the remaining RW 34 and localizer work to be done in the spring, RW
9-27 pre-bid meeting, and a neighborhood tree removal meeting.

B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - No report
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioner Freyer updated the
commission on airport web site changes.
. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - Commissioner Tognazzi updated
the commission on the proposed AdminlMaint building extension and
office renovations. Commissioner Forgione updated the commission on
the renaming of the airport road and the results of the Civil Air Patrol
facility inspection.
. Hangar Development/Off-Airport Obstructions - No report
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT
Airport Manager Mezzetti updated the commission on the monthly aircraft traffic
count, monthly landing fee collections, T -hangar development interest, contract tower
support effort, noise abatement reminder, RW 9-27 pre-bid and bid opening
information, tree removal information, airport reference code information, and airport
maintenance.
D. NEW BUSINESS
None
E. COMMISSION COMMENTS
. Commissioner Barnico asked if the airport was still paying property tax on the
former Gongas and Murrin sites.
. Commissioners Barnico, Forgione, Mahoney, and Chairman Vitale discussed ways
to help the Beverly chapter of the Civil Air Patrol.
. Commissioner Barnico gave the commission information regarding the airport
brook buffer zone.
F. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn made at 8:55PM by Commissioner Lydon, seconded by
Commissioner Forgione. Motion passed unanimously.
