PRESENT:
Commissioners Barnico, Duval, Forgione, Freyer, Lydon, Mahoney,
Nelson, Vitale, and White
ABSENT:
Commissioners Dettorre and Tognazzi

Craig Schuster, Steve Castle, Richard Chase, Tricia Nestor, Ken Robinson,
Tony Bettencourt, and Rich Mello
A. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Vitale called the meeting to order at 7: 00 PM.
1. Reading of the Minutes for January 2007 - Chairman Vitale called for a
reading of the minutes from the January meeting. Vice Chairman Mahoney
made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner
Forgione. Motion passed unanimously.
2. Reading of the Financial Report - Chairman Vitale called for a reading of
the financial report. Commissioner White presented the financial report for
January 2007. Commissioner Barnico made a motion to accept the financial
report subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Forgione. Motion
passed unanimously.
3. Chairman's Report -
. Chairman Vitale reported that West Side hangar development efforts
are on hold.
4. Presentations:
. Edwards & Kelcey - Craig Schuster updated the commission on the
upcoming RW 9/27 Reconstruction project and the late spring/early
summer FAA flight check ofRW 16/34 localizer.
. North Atlantic Air, Inc. (NAA) - NAA President, Ken Robinson,
updated the commission on NAA self-service fuel island utilization, fuel
pricing, and a new tenant based in the East Side hangar, Eastway
Aviation. Eastway Aviation has a Challenger jet.

. Fresh Air Detailing, Inc. - An aircraft detailing service, sublessees of
Cat Aviation, presented their line of services to the commission.
B. OLD BUSINESS
1. Subcommittee Reports:
. Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee - Vice Chairman Mahoney
updated the commission on a recent meeting with F. Lee Bailey
regarding helicopter operations between Hangar #51 and A B Aviation
Hangar #3.
. Public Relations Subcommittee - Commissioners Nelson and Freyer
updated the commission on some possible public relations' initiatives
and will seek information on how BVY can improve as a destination
airport. Commissioner Freyer also said the airport web site needs to be
jazzed up. Commissioner Nelson will get back to the commission with
a date for a web site meeting with our provider. Commissioner Nelson
updated the commission on the Thorpe Circle noise issue.
. Facility Maintenance Subcommittee - Commissioner Forgione updated
the commission on the airport access road renaming project He also
reported that the AdminlMaint building was now ADA compliant (with
the exception of the lunch room that serves as a public meeting room).
. Hangar Development/Off-Airport Obstructions - No report
C. AIRPORT MANAGER'S REPORT
Airport Manager Mezzetti updated the commission on the monthly aircraft traffic
count, monthly landing fee collections, completion ofF AA/BAC lease consolidation,
revised 5- Year CIP, former Revere Aviation site RAO, T -hangar development interest,
airport maintenance, Coastal Pool chemical storage compliance (per City of Beverly
Building Commissioner and CMR (780) Mass Building Code), and the RW 9/27 Pre-
Bid and Bid Opening info.
D. NEW BUSINESS

E. COMMISSION COMMENTS

. The commission will give Fresh Air Detailing, Inc. six (6) months to operate
before considering a commercial activity fee.
. City Hall and various subcommittees and citizen groups need to be sent airport
security requirements regarding site visits at the airport.
F. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn made at 8:45PM by Commissioner White, seconded by
Commissioner Lydon. Motion passed unanimously.
