LYNCH PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES-MARCH 16, 2006
Attending were: Tom Clark, Nancy Clark, Joan Fairbank, Nick
Zarkades, Bruce Doig and Amy Maxner.
Tom Clark reported that he and Nancy had applied for a
$5,000 grant from Essex National Heritage Commission, to be
announced June 1, for a structural and code compliant
analysis of the carriage house. Matching funds have to come
from LPAC sources.
Bruce reported that work had continued on the roof and that
the side window and door on the level above the Guild Room
entry ramp is being fixed for $800 which comes out of the
Campbell contingency fund. Glass panels have been cut but
not installed for the skylight.
Endicott College plans for conference quarters were
discussed. We agree that our space would be for different
functions, theirs being over-night facilities by and large.
Nick has the PowerPoint presentation; it can be used for
presentations to any group interested in the
rehabilitation.
DAVID S. LYNCH DAY: We will have a tent with that
PowerPoint program running, if possible. We will organize
tours of the barn. Stacy McHugh will be asked to do the
pizza judging element again and Liz, the ice cream social.
Bruce has lined up the concert and movie. Other events will
come up as needed.
We voted to cancel the voice mail boxes.
Next meeting will be April 20, 2006 at 7 p.m. at the
library.
Respectfully submitted,
Nancy B. Clark, Recording Secretary
