Present: Elise Bernstein, Art Daignault, Kevin Gallant, Norm Ganley, Patti Hoy, Tim
Hoy, Bob Nelson and Steve Reynolds
Absent:
I. The agenda was reviewed and accepted by the members.
II. The minutes of the last meeting were reviewed and accepted by the members.
IIL Old Business
A. City Hall Access Update:
1. Some progress is being made on negotiating temporary access
measures on the first floor of City Hall or by helping residents use the
elevator, and etc. All of this is pending the final decision as to how the
City Hall services will be made accessible.
B. HP Survey Update:
1. Elise B. presented a draft of a letter to be used by the Beverly Police.
Several minor alterations were suggested. Elise B. is to redo and resubmit
the letter.
2. Other HP Concerns:
a. Wild Horse Cafe sign allowing HP drop-off, ? if driver disabled.
BCOD is to send letter of concern on this issue.
b. At China Buffet, 2-HP signs were lost in the change of
ownership and construction - BCOD is to send letter of concern.
c. The following addresses don't have HP signs:
- 133 Brimbal Avenue
- 123 Brimbat Avenue
- 20 Dunham Road (Hasbro Bros.)
- Star & Spindle
3. Items to be Follow-up by Norm G.:
a. No action on Hannah Village HP
b. Ahearn Park being improved; issue of accessibility
c. Park Street Playground improvements
IV, New Business
A. Changes in By-Laws:
1. Adding position of "Recording Secretary - approved
2. Giving Chairperson the respons~ility for all out-going correspondence
fi'om the BCOD - approved
B. Election of Officers:
1. Steve Reynolds unanimously elec',ed Chairperson.
2. Art Daignault unanimously elected Recording Secretary
