Alyse Gause presided.
The Long Range Planning Committee met to discuss how to proceed with the long range plan
and what kind of survey--- general, targeted, or phased---to conduct. There was a discussion on
what the purpose of this survey should be.
After some discussion it was agreed that individual board members would contact City
Councilors, Friends board members, Beverly Bootstraps director, school reading specialists, and
the Council on Aging director to get feedback on what they think our services are and what they
should be. Common questions to ask:
1. What are we doing right?
2. What are the most valuable services we provide?
3. What could we do better?
Board members will report back to the full board at the September meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
