Mr. Lawler called the meeting to order at 12:11 p.m.
Mr. Lawler also indicated that Mr. John Dunn was present.
The meeting was called to review correspondence from Attorney Brian T. O’Keefe and
City Solicitor Roy Gelineau regarding the Carl Menici matter.
After review of the correspondence, it was motioned and seconded that:
The Commission endorse the opinion of City Solicitor Gelineau of August 11 and
17, 2006 that the maximum term of suspension of Mr. Menici’s permit holder privileges
by Johnson Golf Management is 30 days, which period terminated on or before July 26,
2006 and that any notice of trespass, valid or not, would also terminate on or before July
26, 2006. Passed 4-0
It was also motioned and seconded that:
Mr. Menici is entitled to a hearing before the “grievance panel” and such panel
will be discussed and formed at the next meeting of the Commission. Passed 4-0
The next meeting will be scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2006 at 7:00 pm.
