Answer: Will have to re-advert the water flow. Will still be direct water flow to wetland on GENEr~AL. PUBL I C Mr Borgess 233 Hale @t. concerns, again, re : wells! water Mr. Dowart: Soils on site are relativel~ impermeable. Runoff from bUildings and parking lot will go into Wetland One. Therefore, will not contaminate the well. Soils are impervious near the drainage area. The majority of water is runoff not to percolate into the ground. Michael Marcus Sr. Environmentalist New England Environmental Co. represented the opposition, stated comments ~nd concerns. Upland detention basins wouldn"t eliminate much wetland alteration. Feels there is more than 50 feet of bank being altered. Using the wetland as a detention basin, is a direct alteration. I don't trust the '~fugures. Referred to April 1986 rainstorm bein(.; flooded, etc. Ben Eisenstadt: Represented the opposite Feels the wetlands are being used as a filtration plant. Well owners are not being treated fairl~. A huge stand of helTtloc~:: tt-'ees being removed. Project is too vast.
