CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Meeting called to order at 7:55 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Ray Bouchard, Bill Liss, Paula Bartlett and Joe Manzi.
Motion to recess for Public Hearings made by Bill Liss and seconded
by Paula Bartlett. ALL IN FAVOR.
BALDINI #5-244 19 Paine Avenue. CAMMETT ENGR.
Fred Ford, Engr. made the presentation.
Explained the delineation of the wetlands, also, the position of the
silt fence.
Ray: How will access be made to remove the retaining wall?
Also, where is the exact location referring to on an Assessors Map?
(per George Batchelder).
Bill questioned who determined the edge of the wetlands?
Ford: a botonist did so, a year and a half ago.
Information sufficient.

#5-242 BROOKWOOD SCHOOL To widen the road and resurface/to replace 2 culverts
John Amato, Engr. from Hancock Survey made the presentation.
Road, at present, 16 feet wide, difficult to pass through.
2,175 ft. of BVW on the side of the road to be filled to widen the road,
to compensate with 2,130 sq. ft.
To widen the road to 22 feet.
Ray: to flag critical areas.
Joe: much deliberation re: the pond. (manmade pond-12" in depth).
Bill: doesn't see the delineation of the lOa-yr. flood plan.
HEARING CONT. March 5th. (2-weeks).

#5-159. GREENWOOD AVENUE GEORGE WARREN Proposed drainage changes.
Jerry Carr, Carr Research Labs-Wellesley. Hydrologist-explained the changes.
No berm being proposed, eliminates the berm.
Replacement of a 30" pipe.
Ray: PROPOSED PLAN AND CALCULATIONS TO BE STAMPED.
This proposal will be considered and the Commission will notify the
applicant.
Bill: upon elimination of the berm, what will remain there?
Carr: Only the "natural" materials that are already present.
#5-201 HOYLE HASKELL ST. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE.
George Batchelder's comments, to leave the hay bales untill after
spring run-off.
Bill motioned for a full Certificate of Compliance and Joe Manzi seconded it.
