MINUTES
July 30, 1991
Present: Neil Olson, John Coogan, John Quinn, Jeff Hoover,
Anthony Tappe, Tom Scully
MOTION: By John Coogan. To accept the minutes of the previous
meeting. SO VOTED.
COMMUNICATIONS: Received applications for Clerk of the Works.
ARCHITECTS REPORT: Book stacks were bid on July 25th. Hardie
School renovations also out to bid on July 25th. Received a
proposal from Hunter Environmental Inc. to prepare bid
documents for asbestos removal. Hunter's cost $2,475.
Hunter will be hired by Tappe and Assoc. Final specifications
will be ready for bid on August 20. Filed sub-bids due September
5 and general bids due September 26. Masonry and iron frame of the
building are in worse condition than thought. Inspection by architect
and structural engineer reveal that cast iron beams are in very bad condition.
NEW BUSINESS: John Quinn reported that Keith Taylor and Bud Frasca from Gutierrez
Construction would have a report on their review of the building plans for the next meeting
on August 8.
MOTION: By John Coogan. To approve the monthly bill schedule. SO VOTED
MOTION: To adjourn. SO VOTED.
