The Beverly Airport Commission has determined that this lot is not suitable for aviation use, and may be used for non-aviation purposes. These funds are to be expended under the direction of Frank Killilea, Director of Engineering. They are subject to the terms of the reimbursement agreement of the initial UDAG allocation of April 2002. The availability of the funds has been confirmed by Finance Director Thomas Durkin. The clean-up program and the terms of repayment are contained in a memorandum from Paul Vitale, Chairman of the Beverly Airport Commission and Bob Mezzetti, Airport Manager, that was attached to the initial UDAG request for Gurnard clean-up on April 16, 2002.
