MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

PRESENT: Commissioners Barnico, Dettorre, Mahoney, Simpson, Tognazzi, Trask,
Vitale, and White
ABSENT: Commissioners Duval, Lydon, and Nelson
PUBLIC: Dave Graham, Craig Schuster, Steve Castle, Ken Robinson, Jay Wessell,
Rich Mello, Angier Ames, Wil Gourdeau, Lisa Pais, and Ray Jerzylo
A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman White called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
1. Presentations:
??
Edwards & Kelcey – Craig Schuster and Dave Graham provided
updated information on the FFY05 Capital Improvement Projects.
2. Reading of the Minutes for May 2005 – Chairman White called for a
reading of the minutes from the May meeting. Commissioner Mahoney
made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Vice Chairman Barnico.
Motion passed unanimously.
3. Reading of the Financial Report – Chairman White presented the financial
report for May 2005. Commissioner Trask made a motion to accept the
financial report subject to audit, seconded by Vice Chairman Barnico.
Motion passed unanimously.
B. OLD BUSINESS:
Subcommittee Reports:

Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee – Commissioner Mahoney updated
the commission on the latest status of Hangar #4 proposed sublets.
??
Public Relations Subcommittee – Commissioner Simpson reported on the
status of the proposed RFP for tree clearing.
??
Facility Maintenance Subcommittee – Commissioner Tognazzi set a date
for the next facilities’ inspection.

C. NEW BUSINESS:
Ms. Lisa Pais made a presentation for approval of a predominantly non-aviation
use of Hangar #4 (storage company use).
D. AIRPORT MANAGER’S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti updated the commission on the traffic count, landing
fees, airport maintenance, airport inspections, proposed helicopter hangar status,
FAA personnel changes, property release, MALS repair, and tiedown relocation.
E. CHAIRMAN/COMMISSION COMMENTS:
??
Commissioner Trask mentioned that Commissioner Nelson would be at the
6/21/05 meeting of the Danvers Selectmen to deliver the annual airport
report. Chairman White and Airport Manager Mezzetti will also attend.
??
Commissioner Trask informed the commission about the Danvers Family
Festival that will be held on July 2, 2005
??
Commissioner Vitale will work with Commissioner Trask on the validity of
a BVY Aviation Day.
