These vacancies were created by your recent ordinance change raising the Commission size from 9 to 11 members. In order to hold the number of appointments which expire at the end of any given year to a reasonable level, both these appointments are made for a period of one year with the expectation that they would be renewed for a three year period at the end of 2005. With Bobs leadership, this concession stand with public facilities became a reality. Refer to Finance and Property Send copy to Judith Cronin Chairperson Beverly School Committee 3 #9 By Councilor Coughlin: Ordered: That the School Committee consider declaring the McKay School as Surplus Property in order to begin the process of the sale of the property allowing proper time allocations to receive maximum value for said sale. Monies received to be allocated to the cost of restoration/new wing at BHS. Martin: Amendment to read that the City Council request McKay School be declared surplus property. 5-4 Vote with Martin, Flaherty, Coughlin, Costa and Guanci voting for the amendment Order read once and adopted 5-4 Vote with Martin, Flaherty, Coughlin Costa and Guanci voting for.
