MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 10, 2005
PRESENT: Commissioners Barnico, Mahoney, Nelson, Simpson, Tognazzi, Trask, and
White
ABSENT: Commissioners Duval and Lydon
PUBLIC: Arthur Allen, Angier Ames, Steve Castle, Rich Little, Rich Mello, Dave
Graham, Craig Schuster, Ken Robinson, and Jay Wessell
CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman White called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
1. Presentations:
Edwards & Kelcey – Dave Graham and Craig Schuster updated
the commission on the Security Fencing and RW 9-27 Crack
Repair Project punch list completion and the FY05 RW 34
Design Project status.
2. Reading of the Minutes for December 2004 – Chairman White called for a
reading of the minutes from the December meeting. Commissioner
Mahoney made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner
Vice Chairman Barnico. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Reading of the Financial Report – Chairman White presented the financial
report for December 2004. Commissioner Trask made a motion to accept
the financial report subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Tognazzi.
Motion passed unanimously.
A. OLD BUSINESS:
Subcommittee Reports:

Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee – Commissioner Mahoney discussed
the status of Aviators of New England and Tom Ford’s optional land lease
clause.

Public Relations Subcommittee – Commissioner Simpson updated the
commission on the status of tree removal by the end of RW 34 and RW 27.
He also informed the commission that Gary Kerr had updated the airport’s
website.

Facility Maintenance Subcommittee – Commissioner Tognazzi reported
that facility maintenance inspections would resume the beginning of
February.
B. NEW BUSINESS:

High Flight, Inc. and Aviators of New England, Inc. Assumption of
Sublease – High Flight, Inc. desires to assign the Aviators of New England,
Inc. sublet to N/X Aero LLC. Matter referred to City Solicitor.
C. AIRPORT MANAGER’S REPORT:
??
Airport Manager Mezzetti updated the commission on the traffic count,
G.A.S. rent arrears, landing fees, snow removal, airport maintenance, and
airport inspections.
