MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
MAY 9, 2005

PRESENT: Commissioners Barnico, Dettorre, Duval, Lydon, Mahoney, Tognazzi,
Trask, Vitale, and White
ABSENT: Commissioners Nelson and Simpson
PUBLIC: Dave Graham, Craig Schuster, Steve Castle, Jay Wessell, Rich Mello,
Angier Ames, and Wil Gourdeau
A. CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman White called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
1. Presentations:
??
Edwards & Kelcey – Dave Graham spoke on the importance of
GPS and WAAS and the need to be prepared for it. Airports need
to be “on-board” with GPS and WAAS; airports need to “knock on
FAA’s door”; FAA won’t come to the airports. Dave Graham will
talk with Commissioner Simpson, who has been communicating
with Sue Crumb of FAA regarding WAAS and GPS.
2. Reading of the Minutes for April 2005 – Chairman White called for a
reading of the minutes from the April meeting. Commissioner Mahoney
made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Commissioner Duval.
Motion passed unanimously.
3. Reading of the Financial Report – Chairman White presented the financial
report for April 2005. Commissioner Trask made a motion to accept the
financial report subject to audit, seconded by Commissioner Tognazzi.
Motion passed unanimously.
B. OLD BUSINESS:
Subcommittee Reports:

Property/Legal/Finance Subcommittee – Commissioner Mahoney updated
the commission on Ace’s & Eight’s proposed Hangar #4 sublease and on
Angier Ames desire to build a T-hangar on the Hangar #4 ramp.

Public Relations Subcommittee – No report

Facility Maintenance Subcommittee – Commissioner Tognazzi and Airport
Manager Mezzetti reported on proposals G.A.S. and the airport have
received on painting G.A.S. Hangars #2 & #3.
C. NEW BUSINESS:
None
D. AIRPORT MANAGER’S REPORT:
Airport Manager Mezzetti updated the commission on the traffic count, landing
fees, FAA Radar Reflector Tower, airport development interest, absorption of
Wenham parcels, airport maintenance, airport inspections, EPA secondary
containment, and PAPI update.
E. CHAIRMAN/COMMISSION COMMENTS:
None

Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Lydon, seconded by Commissioner
Trask. Motion passed unanimously.
