Members Present: Rich Benevento, Tom and Nancy Clark, Bob Richardson, Tom Scully,
Virginia Currier, Bob Griffin, Michael Gaudette, Tom Scully, Joan Fairbank
October Minutes were approved.
Richard Benevento reported favorable response of the Master Plan from his meeting with the
Parks and Recreation Commission on November 6th.
City Council Presentation is scheduled for December 15th. There is an hour scheduled for this
presentation. Ability to present slides at the meeting will be addressed. Rich will do the initial
introduction with Jeff Hoover and Steven Feige describing the Master Plan. Each of the City
Councilors and the Mayor will receive color copies of the final report. Other color copies will go
to the Lynch Trustees, the Library, and the City Clerk's office.
Other presentations to the public were discussed.. Rich felt that there should be presentations to
all interested groups and wards. The first one should be held either at the Cove School or the
Senior Center on Colon Street. Many felt that the Senior Center would be more desirable as it
could be televised and would be more open to all citizens. The week of Feburary 12th was
discussed as a possible date.
Mayor's proposal of $160,000 to do the roof that is being presented to City Council on December
8th. We will have an opporiunity to address the city council before the December 15th
presentation.
