Minutes of Meeting
January 6, 1966
The meeting was called to order at 10:00 A.M. Present were Chairman Fletcher and
Member Bornstein, Superintendent Knowlton, Attorney Darling and Linda Vaughan,
Secretary. Member Killilea was absent.
December minutes were approved on a motion by Mr. Bornstein, second Mr. Fletcher, all in
favor.
Current Expense warrant #18, Payroll warrant #18, Fund Account warrant #8 and MMDT
warrants #23 & 24 were signed.
All special accounts were signed.
3.Year Water Use: Superintendent Knowlton requested the Board approve the 3-year
water use figures. The Board agreed subject to member Killilea's approval.
Reports from Attorney Darling: Attorney Darling briefly reported on the progress of
various ongoing projects. The Danco Roofing project will be discussed at the next
meeting.
Quality and Quantity: Quality remains good. Started pumping 25 MGD a day on January
4. The lake should fill up in about 10 days.
Old Business: Mr. Bornstein reported almost all hydrants in Salem have been repaired.
The next meeting of the Salem and Beverly Water Supply Board will be on Tuesday,
February 2, 1999.
Having no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned on a motion by Mr.
Bornstein, second Mr. Fletcher, all in favor.
