1689-06-24[Town Meeting June 24, 1689]
At a general Town Meeting of the inhabitants of Beverly legally warned there were chosen
for selectmen for the year ensuing as followeth viz.
Lieut. William Dodge
Beacon Hill
Deacon Woodberry
Sergeant Conant and
Henry Herrick
At the same town meeting there were chosen for Constables for the year ensuing Samuel
Morgan senr and William Elliott.
