3:9:’84. At a general town meeting legally warned Mr. Roger Haskins and Mr. David Perkins
were chosen to serve upon the jury of trials on the next court holden at Salem after the date hereof:
At the same town meeting there were chosen for selectmen for the ensuing year:
Capt. Will. Raymond
Quartermaster Will. Dodge
Samuel Corning junior
Joseph H. Dodge
Samuel Balch
3:9:’84. At a general town meeting legally warned it was voted and agreed-upon that whereas
it was voted that Mr. Hale’s year was to begin on the 5 of the sixth month 1684 it now is agreed that
Mr. Hale’s year shall from hence forward begin on the first Monday in November from year to year.
