1681-11-21[Town Meeting November 21, 1681]
At a general town meeting of the inhabitants of Beverly that 21 November 1681 for the
agreeing upon the place for setting of a new meeting house it was voted that the said new meeting
house shall be set on the town land by the old meeting house between said old meeting house &
Roger Haskins his house.
At the same town meeting farmer John West and Deacon Humphrey Woodbury were chosen
to procure men to view the meeting house to see if it be capable of repairing & enlarging or no.
