At a general town meeting the 17 of August 1680 John Hill was chosen commissioner for this
town of Beverly.
At a general town meeting the 17 August 1680 was chosen John Bennett grand jury man for
this year.
The land laid out for Humphrey Horell lies northerly by the high way next John Knight’s and
westerly next the highway bonding next to the swamp agining to Mr. Paul Thorndike’s and it is
agreed that William Livermore is to maintain half the fence that lies at the south end from bound to
bound so long as the said Humphrey Horell shall possess the said land the 27 August 1680.
