1679-10-10[Town Meeting October 10, 1679] At a general town meeting legally warned it was voted that there should be a petition proffered to the Honorable General Court for the further prosecution of the difference between Wenham & us. 2. It was voted that Ensign Samuel Corning & farmer William Dodge sen. & farmer John West was chosen at the same meeting to manage the petition and also if they see cause to make choice of some able man to help in managing the said case at the General Court. 3. It was also voted at the same meeting that a rate should be made to raise monies for the carrying on of the work as above said.
