At a town meeting on the 11 day of July in the yeur 1679 Sergeant John Hill was chosen and
appointed to serve as a grand jury man for the year ensuing.
At the same Town Meeting Andrew Elliott Sr. was chosen to search and to seal all such
leather as shall be tanned in the Town of Beverly according to Law.
