1677-11-05 [Town Meeting November 5,1677]
At a general town meeting November the fifth 1677 there were two Constables chosen to
serve this year ensuing (viz.) John Black & Zachariah Herrick.

At the same town meeting November 5 1677 Peter Woodberry was chosen grand jury man
for this year ensuing.
At the same town meeting November 5. 1677 Edward Dodge was chosen to serve on the jury
of trials at the next County Court to be held Salem the last Tuesday of this instant month.
At the same town meeting of the fifth of November 1677 there were chosen for selectmen to
order the affairs of the town.

It was agreed by general vote at a public town meeting November the 5 1677 that the
Constables for the time being and so from time to time successively shall gather the rate for Mr. Hale
his maintenance and firewood & take the care of the payment of it and likewise take care that Mr.
Hale be provided with firewood out of the said rate.
