1670-02-22[February 22, 1670] At a general town meeting it is agreed by a general vote that for the time to come every person concerned shall make up their accounts with Mr. Hale by the middle of January & in case of neglect the parties employed shall take the accounts & forthwith distrain. ndly 2. That all persons that are at present behind with Mr. Hale are to make up their accounts th with Mr. Hale between this and the 10 of March next and if any neglect the payment the [illegible] empowered are to take [illegible] with them and distrain. The Constable is desired to acquaint the Major with such miscarriages as are known to him & others with reference to Clinge & his wife. William Rayment is chosen a selectman instead of Samuel Corning.
