1783-04-07 Election results[Town Meeting April 7, 1783]
At a legal Meeting of the male persons of twenty-one years of age belonging to the Town of Beverly
that were qualified agreeable to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to vote for
a Governor, Lieut. Governor and persons for Senators and Counselors on Monday the seventh day
of April 1783. The Selectmen presided at said meeting and the votes received for a Governor, Lieut.
Governor and persons for Senators and Counselors are as follows viz.
