1781-10-31 Juror selectionAt a legal meeting of the Inhabitants of the Town of Beverly October 31, 1781.
Capt. Joseph Rae and Mr. Thomas Hovey were chosen to serve on the grand jury at the Supreme
Court of Judicature to be holden at Salem on the first Tuesday of November next and Mr. Asa Leech,
Lieut. Peter Shaw, Capt. James Lovett and Mr. Benjamin Smith were appointed as the law directs
to serve on the Petit Jury that said Court.
