At a legal meeting of Inhabitants of the Town of Beverly December 22 1777.
Dea. John Conant & Lieut. Jonah Dodge were chosen as the law directs to serve on a jury at a
Special Court of the General Sessions of the Peace to be holden at Salem on the last Monday of
December instant. Also Mr. Malachi Woodberry, Mr. Paul Haskell, Daniel Adams & Benjamin Obear
were chosen to serve on the Petit Jury at the Court of the General Sessions of the Peace and Inferior
Court of Common Pleas to be holden at Salem on the last Tuesday of December instant. Also at said
