1774-08-08At a legal meeting of the Freeholders and other Inhabitants of the Town of Beverly August the eighth
1774.
Benjamin Jones Esq. was chosen Moderator.
Voted that this town will pay their proportionable part of the charge of the Committee of Congress
agreeable to a list exhibited from the House of Representatives which is three pounds eighteen
shillings and that the Town Treasurer is hereby ordered to pay the same accordingly and be allowed
charges therefore.
