1851-10-28 PerambulationBeverly and Manchester th We the subscribers, Selectmen of Manchester and Beverly, having met his 28 day of October 1851, for the purpose of perambulating and renewing the bounds and running the lines between said towns, having attended to this service, make the following report, viz.- Beginning at the mouth of Chubbs Creek and running through the middle of said Creek to a stone post marked M. B. on the o north side of the New Bridge, thence North 50 West, 15 rods to a stone post marked M. B. thence o North 29 West, twenty five poles to a stone post marked M. B. on Benjamin and Samuel Foster’s land, thence on the same course eighty poles to a stone post on Isaac Preston’s land, thence on the same course eighty poles to a stone post marked M. B. thence about one hundred and twenty poles o by a stone post marked M. B. to another stone post on a Nathan Preston’s land, thence North 22 30' West eighty poles to a stone post set in the ground marked M. B.
