1856-12-02 PerambulationBeverly and Manchester We the subscribers, Selectmen of Manchester & Beverly have this day met together and perambulated the line and renewed the boundary marks between said Town as follows: viz.. Beginning at the M.B mouth of Chubbs Creek and running through the middle of said Creek to a stone post marked o M.B on the north side of the new bridge, thence North 50 West Fifteen rods to a stone post marked .; o M.B. thence North 29 West twenty five rods to a stone post marked on land of Benjn. & Samuel Foster, thence on the same course Eighty rods to a stone post in Isaac Preston’s land; thence on the M.B. same course Eighty rods to a stone post marked , thence about one hundred and twenty rods o M.B by a stone post on Nathan Preston’s land marked . thence North 22 30' West Eighty rods to a M.B.W. stone post set in the ground marked which is the corner boundary of Manchester, Beverly, & Wenham being the same bounds agreed upon by the Committee in the year 1739, as per return.
