1873-11-04 ElectionCommonwealth of Massachusetts Essex, ss:To one of the Constables of the town of Beverly.Greeting. You are hereby required in the name of said Commonwealth to notify and warn in the usual manner the qualified voters of said Town to meet at the Town Hall in said Town, on Tuesday the Fourth day of November next at Eight o’clock before noon, to give in their votes by ballot for the following officers viz.: For a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Treasurer and Receiver General, Auditor, and Attorney General of said Commonwealth. Councillor for District Number Five. Register of Probate and Insolvency, Register of Deeds. County Commissioner and County Treasurer, of the County of Essex. A Senator for the Fifth Senatorial District and Two Representatives in the General Court for the Tenth Representative District of the County of Essex. The votes for said officers will be received on one ballot and the polls will be opened at Eight o’clock A M. and closed at thirty minutes past Four o’clock P. M. unless otherwise ordered by the meeting. Commonwealth of Massachusetts At a legal meeting of the Inhabitants of the Town of Beverly, in the County of Essex qualified as by the Constitution required to vote for civil officers holden at the Town Hall in said Town on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, being the fourth day of said month in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, for the purpose of giving in their votes for a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Treasurer and Receiver General, Auditor and Attorney General of said Commonwealth, Councillor for District Number Five.
