1866-11-07 Election resultsCommonwealth of Massachusetts At a meeting of the Town Clerks of the towns of Manchester, Beverly and Hamilton said towns comprising the Tenth Representative District of the County of Essex, held at the office of the Town Clerk in Beverly on Wednesday the Seventh day of November A.D.1866 at Twelve o'clock noon, to examine and compare the transcripts of the records of votes in said towns for Two Representatives in the General Court for said District; said transcripts were examined and compared, and the votes for said representatives were for the following persons. John W. Raymond of Beverly, six hundred and thirty-five votes George E. Dodge of Hamilton, six hundred and thirty-three votes Andrew L. Eaton of Beverly, sixty-one votes George W. Warner of Hamilton, fifty-eight votes John Trefry of Hamilton, twenty-one votes William G. Woodberry of Beverly, one vote Isaac Appleton of Beverly, one vote Joseph Abbott of Beverly, one vote Andrew Eaton of Beverly, one vote Henry Kitfield of Manchester, one vote Henry P. Allen of Manchester, one vote And John W. Raymond of Beverly and George B. Dodge of Hamilton having the highest number of votes were declared elected and certificates of their election were duly issued according to law. Geo. F.
