1866-11-19 Perambulation Beverly and Wenham We the subscribers, Selectmen of Wenham & Beverly in the County of Essex, have this day met together and perambulated the lines and viewed the boundary marks between said towns. Beginning at a stone set in the ground in Paul Porter's orchard marked W. B. D. thence S 80° 30' E to a stone set in the westerly side of the highway leading to Topsfield, thence to a stone set in the ground called Alford's Stone, in land of Charles Brown, marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground on the westerly side of the county road opposite the wall between the lands formerly of Charles & John Dodge marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground marked W. B. in the land of William Dodge thence to a stone set in the South Side of the highway by the wall of Richard Dodge, a few rods easterly of said Dodge's house marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground marked W. B. near Larcom's corner, thence to a stone on the westerly side of Essex Street, thence to a stone set in the ground on the east side of Longham Meadow marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground on the south side of the road against land of Peter Corning marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground on the easterly side of Raccoon Swamp so-called marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground by the wall of George Standley marked W. B. thence running northerly to a stone set in the ground on Gravelly Ridge, marked W. B. thence to a stone set in the ground in the highway between Henry Whygate & Nehh. Preston's house, thence more easterly to a stone set in the ground at the comer of Preston's field marked W. B. thence on a straight line from Preston's corner to a stone set in the ground marked W.
