1866-11-15 Perambulation Beverly and Manchester We the subscribers, Selectmen of Manchester and Beverly having met the 15th day of November 1866 for the purpose of perambulating and viewing the bounds and running the lines between said towns having attended to that service make the following report, viz: Beginning at the mouth of Chubbs Creek and running through the middle of said Creek to a stone post on the north side of the New Bridge marked M. B. thence North 50° west 15 rods to stone post marked M. B. thence North 290 west 25 poles to a stone post marked M. B. on Benjamin & Samuel Foster's land, thence on the same course eighty poles to a stone post on Isaac Preston's land, thence on the same course eighty poles to stone post marked M. B. thence 120 poles to a stone post marked M. B. on Nathan Preston's land, thence and 22° 30' west eighty poles to stone post set in the ground marked M. B.
