At a meeting of the Town Clerks of the towns of Wenham, Beverly and Topsfield, said towns
comprising the Third Representative District of the County of Essex, held at the Town Clerk's office
in Beverly on Wednesday the Eighth day of November A. D. 1865 at 12 o'clock noon, to examine
and compare the transcripts of the Records of votes in said Towns, for the Representatives for said
District in the General Court, said transcripts were examined and compared and the votes for said
Representatives were for the following persons, viz.:-
John W. Raymond Beverly, four hundred eighty-eight
John I. Baker of Beverly, four hundred twenty-seven
R. Frank Dodge of Wenham forty-two
Joseph Tuck of Beverly, seven
Charles Herrick of Topsfield
Homy Hobbs of Wenham
A. A. Galloupe, John H. Chipman Jr. of Beverly, Joseph Wilson of Beverly, and
Paul M. Barnes of Wenham, two votes each
F. M. Dodge, Daniel Lefavour, Frank M. Dodge, Robert R. Endicott, Leonard C.
Foss, David Crowell, Daniel Foster, Perkins Haskell, Benjamin O. Peirce, John
Pickett, William Ray of Topsfield, Andrew Dodge of Wenham, B. K. Batchelder
of Wenham, George W. Raymond, Rufus A. Dodge of Wenham, & J. D. W.
Beeman, one vote each

And John W. Raymond of Beverly and John I. Baker of Beverly having the highest number of votes
were declared Elector, and certificates of their election were duly issued according to law.
