1862-11-05 Election resultsCommonwealth of Massachusetts At a meeting of the Town Clerks of the Towns of Wenham, Beverly, and Topsfield, said towns composing Third Representative District of the County of Essex, held at the Town Clerk's office in Beverly on Wednesday, November 5th A.D. 1862, to examine and compare returns of votes for said Representatives for said District all of the votes for said Representatives were examined and counted and were for the following persons, viz.; Robert S. Foster of Beverly, six hundred fifty-nine votes 659 Robert R. Endicott of Beverly, six hundred fifty-two votes 652 Joseph D. Tuck of Beverly, two hundred sixty eight votes 268 Elisha Woodberry of Beverly, two hundred fifty-nine votes 259 N. H. Webb of Beverly one vote 1 Josiah A. Haskell of Beverly one vote 1 And Robert S.
