1859-11-08 ElectionCommonwealth of Massachusetts Essex, ss. To one of the Constables of the town of Beverly.- Greeting. You are hereby required in the name of said Commonwealth, to notify and warn in the usual manner the qualified voters of said town, to meet at the Town Hall on Tuesday the Eighth day of November next at nine o'clock in the forenoon for the following purposes.-viz.: To give in their ballots for a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor and Attorney General of this Commonwealth, a Sheriff, one County Commissioner, two Special Commissioners, and three Commissioners of Insolvency, for the County of Essex, a District Attorney for the Eastern District, a Councillor for Council District Number Two, a Senator for the Fifth Senatorial District of the County of Essex, and two Representatives for the Third Representative District of the County of Essex. The votes for all the above named officers will be received on one piece of paper, and the polls will be closed at four o'clock, unless otherwise ordered by the meeting. Hereof fail not but make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon before the time of said meeting. James Hill, Town Clerk Commonwealth of Massachusetts At a legal meeting of the Inhabitants of the town of Beverly, in Representative District Number Three in the County of Essex qualified, as by the Constitution required to vote for civil officers holden on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November being the Eighth day of said month in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine, for the purpose of giving in their votes for Two Representatives in the General Court for said District, the whole number of ballots given in therefore was Four hundred and nineteen Said ballots were sorted, counted and recorded and declaration thereof made as by the Constitution is directed, and were for the following persons, viz.:- Andrew F.
