1886-10-27 Perambulation Perambulation of Town line. Beverly and Wenham. Oct. 27,1886. We, the subscribers, Selectmen of Beverly and Wenham have met the twenty-seventh day of Oct. A. D. 1886 to perambulate the lines and renew the bound marks between them the two towns as follows:- Beginning at a stone post marked B.W.M. being the corner bounds between Beverly, Manchester and Wenham, to a stone in the corner of Preston's field marked B.W. thence to a stone in the highway marked B. W. thence to a stone on Gravelly Ridge so-called marked B.W. thence turning southerly to a stone by the wall in the land formally owned by George Standley marked B. W. thence to a stone on the east side of Raccoon Swamp, so-called, marked B.W.thence to a stone on a southerly side of the highway marked B.W. thence to a stone on the east side of Longham Meadow marked B.W. thence to a stone on the west side of Essex Street marked B.W. thence to a stone near Larcom's corner marked B.W. thence to a stone on the south side of the highway near the house of Richard Dodge, marked B.W. thence to a stone on Wm. Dodge's land marked B.W. thence to a stone on the west side of the highway marked B.W. thence on the same course across the lake to a stone in the field formally owned by Charles Brown, called "Alfred's Stone" marked B.W. thence to a stone in the highway marked B.W. thence North 80° west to a stone near the house of the late William Moulton marked B.D.W. this being the corner bounds between Beverly, Danvers and Wenham.
