Gent: I had occasion to use seventy (70) bonds of one thousand dollars each, under
the act of the Legislature of the year 1881, for the purpose of selling the same at their market value
in applying the proceeds to the payment of the following notes,
$10,000 dated Jany. 12, 1872, N. E. Mu. Life Ins. Co. due Jany. 12, 1886
20,000 dated Jany. 14, 1876, China Mu. Ins. Co. due Jany. 14, 1886
5000 dated Jany. 13, 1876 Chelsea Savings Bk. due Jany. 13, 1886
5000 dated Jany 13, 1876 do due Jany. 13, 1886
5000 dated Jany. 13, 1876 do due Jany. 13, 1886
5000 dated Jany. 13, 1876 do due Jany. 13, 1886

And I hereby request you to countersign for the purpose aforesaid seventy (70) bonds the
each in the sum of one thousand dollars.
