1886-03-15 Notice of Bond Sale Beverly, Mch. 15, 1886
To the Selectmen of the Town of Beverly.
Gent: I have occasion to use twenty-eight (28) bonds of one thousand dollars for each,
under the Act of the Legislature for the year 1881, for the purposes selling the same at their market
value and applying the proceeds to the payment of the following notes.
$10000, dated Mch 18, 1876 Lynn Five Cts. Sav. Bk. due Mch. 18, 1886
10000, dated Mch. 18. 1876 Prov. Inst. For Sav. Salisbury Mch do
10000, dated Mch. 18, 1876 do do
The first named originally issued to Sarah L. Tapley of Lynn & the last two to Nat. City Bank of
Lynn. And I hereby request you to countersign for the purpose aforesaid twenty-eight (28) bonds
each in the sum of one thousand dollars.
