1885-02-16 Notice of Bond Sale February 16,1885
To the Selectmen of the Town of Beverly
Gent. I have the occasion to issue fifteen
(15) bonds of one thousand dollars each, under the Act of the Legislature for the year 1881, for the
purpose of selling the same at their market value and applying the proceeds to the payment of the
following notes
$2500 dated Feb. 3, 1879 Beverly Savings Bank, due Feb. 3, 1885
2000 (part) dated Feb. 22, 1879 Beverly Sinking Fund, due Demand.
10,000 dated Feb. 28, 1879, Wor. No. Inst. For Savings, due Feb. 28, 1885
And I hereby request you countersign for the purpose aforesaid fifteen (15) bonds,
each in the sum of One thousand dollars.
