1882-06-10 Notice of Bond Sale Beverly, June 10, 1882 To the Selectmen of the Town of Beverly. I have occasion to issue One hundred eighty five (185) bonds, of One thousand dollars each, under the Act of the Legislature for the year 1881 for the purpose of selling the same at their market value and applying the proceeds to the payment of the following notes, viz.: $20000 dated Dec. 3, 1869 State of Massts. due Dec. 3, 1889 20000 dated Dec. 10, 1869 do 40000 dated May 10, 1873 do 35000 dated Dec. 30, 1873 do 15000 dated Feby. 6, 1874 do 10000 dated May 19, 1874 do 30000 dated Jany. 28, 1875 do due Dec. 9, 1899 due May 10, 1883 due Dec. 30, 1883 due Feb. 6, 1890 due May 19, 1884 due Jany. 28, 1887 And I hereby request you to countersign for the purpose aforesaid One hundred eighty-five (185) bonds, each in the sum of One thousand dollars.
