1881-09-15 PerambulationPerambulation of the Town Line Wenham and Beverly September the 15th 1881 We, the subscribers, Selectmen of Wenham and Beverly have met this the 15m day of September 1881 to perambulate the lines and renew the bound marks between the two towns as follows: Beginning at a stone post marked B. W. M. being the corner bounds between Wenham, Beverly and Manchester thence to a stone in the corner of Preston's field marked W. B. thence to a stone in the highway marked W. B. thence to a stone on Gravelly Ridge, so called, marked W. B. thence turning southerly to a stone by the wall in the land formerly owned by George StandIey marked W. B. thence to a stone on the east side of Raccoon Swamp, so called, marked W. B. thence to a stone on the south side of the highway marked W. B. thence to a stone on the east side of Longham Meadow to a stone marked W. B. thence to a stone near Larcom's corner marked W. B. thence to a stone on the south side of the highway near the house of Richard Dodge marked W. B. thence to a stone in William Dodge's land marked W. B. thence to a stone on the west side of the highway marked W. B. thence on the same course across the Lake to a stone in the field formerly owned by Charles Brown called "Alford's Stone" marked W. B. thence to a stone in the highway marked W. B. thence North 80° West to a stone near the house of the late William Moulton marked W. B.
