1876-11-24 Perambulation WENHAM and BEVERLY We the subscribers, Selectmen of Wenham and Beverly, have this day met together and perambulated the line and viewed the boundary mark between said towns. Beginning at a Stone set in the gronnd in "Paul Porter's Orchard" marked W.B.D. thence South 80° 30' East to a Stone set in the ground called "Alford's Stone" in land of Charles Brown marked W.B., thence to a stone set in the ground in the Westerly side of the county road opposite the wall between the lands formerly of Charles & John Dodge marked W.B., thence to a stone set in the ground marked W.B. in the land of William Dodge, thence to a Stone set on the Southerly side of the highway by the wall of Richard Dodge, a few rods Easterly said Dodge's dwelling house, marked W.B., thence to a Stone set in the ground marked W.B. near "Larcom's Comer" so called, thence to a stone set in the ground, on the West Side of Essex Street; thence to a stone set in the ground on the East side of "Longham Meadow" marked W.B. thence to a stone set in the ground at the Southerly side of the highway against land of Peter Corning marked W.B. thence to a stone set in the ground on the Easterly side of "Racoon Swamp" so called marked W.B. thence to a stone set in the ground by the wall of George StandIey, marked W.B. thence running Northerly to a stone set in the ground on "Gravelly Ridge" so called, marked W.B., thence to a stone set in the ground in the highway between the houses formerly belonging to Henry Wyatt and Nehemiah Preston, thence more Easterly to a Stone set in the ground at the comer of Preston's field marked W.B. thence on a straight line from "Preston's Comer" to a stone set in the ground marked W.B.M. which is the bounds between Beverly, Wenham and Manchester.
